Welcome to our site, we are Deb and Steve Robertson both born in the East End of London and that is why our Kennel name is Cockneyoka. We have been married for 31 years and have a daughter and a son and 4 Grand Children who love to come round and see our dogs. Steve is a site manager at a local Junior School and I am at present working in an Office .
We have been in Dobermanns for some years and Hector was our first dog from a local breeder Natalie Baker who introduced us into the world of Dobermanns and showing. Shortly after Hector in March 2006 we got Holly from the Martonburg Kennels in Middlesex and later that year we purchased Helga from the Diego Kennel in Scotland. In 2007 we purchased another bitch from the Diego Kennel called Hera. We waited two years before we had our first litter to gain more experience. During this time we were fortunate to meet Jay & Martin Horgan www.aritaur.co.uk from Staffordshire Moorlands near to Alton Towers to whom we are both indebted for their help and guidance in all aspects of the Dobermann. When the time came to mate Holly it was an easy choice to choose one of their stud dogs of the finest quality and impeccable temperment and Aritaur Histabraq (Bracco) was used. The puppies were of such outstanding quality and temperment that we have repeated the mating this year. Hope and Harvey are from the first pairing as is Sam & Wesley Greens bitch Bella (Cockneyoka Belle Star) all of whom are doing very well in the show ring.
This year it was time to mate Helga www.diegodobermanns.piczo.com and we used Ch. Leibwache Al Capone - a son off Bracco bred by Di Burree and owned by our good friends Andrea and Richard. The 11 puppies were all of outstanding quality and have all found loving homes.
Steve is currently on the Dobermann Bred Councils "C" List for judges and attends many courses and seminars and is a committee member of the Romford Canine Association.
We are committed to health testing our dogs and believe that it is of the uptmost importance and we are proud to say that we are Kennel Club Assured Breeders.

Hope and Harvey at 6 1/2 months.
Hope and Harvey both won their respective Minor Puppy Classes at South Wales Kennel Association General Championship Show and Harvey went on to be Best Puppy Dog.
